Harry Potter Scarf...FINISHED
I finished the day of the HBP release. I thought about wearing it to the midnight showing but I quickly decided against it when I got to the theater. You could say I chickened out. I want to make a Slytherin one next, I already have some left over yarn to use.
What did you guys think of Half Bood Prince? It was my favorite so far. It made me want to re-read the series.

Native American Bracelets Revisited

I posted earlier about the Native American bracelets using the spacer bars. Since then I have made a few more Native American like bracelets and I thought I would share them with you. The one on the top is made with clay spacer bars that I made myself Though they are weak, they were cheaper and a fun day project. The ones that are on the bottom bracelet I bought from Fire Mountain Gems.
If you make these types of bracelets, let me see them! They are my favorite to make. Happy Crafting!

Native American Bracelet

To make a Native American like bracelet you need variations of the following:
- Long bone beads.
- Spacer bars
- Other assorted beads
- Clasps
- Thin string.
How to:
- Start out with two long strings, about a foot long each. Take an end of each string and put them through the clasp. This prevents unneeded knots that may unravel.
- Next, put on the beads in desired order. Remember your spacer bars so that your string don't get messed up!
- Finish it off, and show me your creation!

Dream Catcher Necklace

The idea for this dream catcher came to me in a dream...literally. I had some metal hoops and I made them. The extras I am selling on my Etsy, but you can make your own here by following my tutorial.
You'll need:
- Scissors
- About 3 feet of hemp (Could be different color)
- Super glue
- A metal ring
- Double sided tape (Optional)
- Start out by putting a piece of double sided tape on the ring to hold t,he string down, then tie the string around the loop on top of the tape.
- Wrap the string around the loop as shown in box two, do this the entire way around.
- Tie off and use the Superglue to hold it in about four places.
- Let dry.
- Weaving the we is difficult to explain so here are a few tutorial on it, find what works for you: Talk-through, Step-by-Step, Step-by-Step 2.
- You can add in beads like shown below to spice it up.
- Add feathers or charms at the bottom that hang down.

Don't Forget to be Awesome!

One of my guilty pleasures is the VlogBrothers. They're Nerdfighting brothers who fight world suck and remind us everyday to be awesome. The Center bead symbolizes them, with the letters DFTBA. The dice on either side of them are supposed to symbolized the 5 awesome girls and 5 awesome guys because they use dice to roll for challenges.
If you follow the Five awesomes, of vlog brothers, let me know! It's always great meeting other nerdfighters!
